Easier to find parking at BoardWalk

We just returned from a week at BWV. I posted a TR over on the appropriate board, but forgot to mention our parking experience at BW. It probably means more to you guys over here, anyway.
We never had trouble finding parking in the lot! I mean, even sometimes finding a spot right as we entered! This has never been our experience in the past. We didn't use valet once (normally, we always valet), because parking was such a breeze.
I wonder if they're cracking down, although people can still lie. I just read some guys' trip report and he said he parked at the BW so that on his way out of Epcot, he could avoid the crowds .

Maybe the free Magical Express is working to limit the number of on site cars. I'm sure this was part of their goal with ME to help with the ever increasing on site traffic problems. Also to keep more of us at Disney for all our meals and away from those OTHER parks.

ME would be my guess too. I'm sure there are a lot more people taking advantage of the free transportation and not renting a car that just gets parked for most of the time anyway.

When we were there in March they were having guests to the Boardwalk park across the street. The main lot was used only for Inn or Villa guests.

We also just returned from a week at Boardwalk, and I can vouch that parking was never a problem. We also self-parked the entire time. Don't know if Magic Express was the reason, but there were certainly no difficulties at any time.

It just matters what time of year U are talking about it seems. Went last March and it was a fight everyday. Then went in Feb and May and really didn't have much of a problem both time. I think there are more cars during March because people are staying there longer. From up north here we tend to go to Disney for a week or two that time ayear. May on seems to be shorter trips and therefore might not rent a car. I Think..................

I've parked there September last year and May this year. Never had a problem and always got decent spots. Maybe we are lucky but I have never experience a real bad parking problem yet. And I hope that I don't!
