Ears of Excellence pins

Does anyone know anything about the "Ears of Excellence pins"? Are they tradeable in the parks. I just aquired a few. Pin Pics won't allow them to be traded through their site becuse their origin is unconfirmed. Any one know anything else or had any luck trading them at the parks?

When I was there in Jan. Saw the belle one on a lanyard. It is really cute. I traded for it. So I would say yes you can trade them.

Anyone know where these pin came from? What does DRTSC mean it is on the back of the pin. Thanks

Here is what pin pics has to say about them:
"series of large, very limited cast member recognition pins, used for the Disneyland Resort Travel Company in Anaheim. The series features 8 different pins. The upper part of each pin features a character while the bottom features the text Ears Of Excellence. On the left is the set of Mickey ears.

The pins are given to the top service performers during late 2006 and 2007. The edition size of the award pins from previous years was 250, so it is most likely that for this series as well. The pins had to be awarded to the cast member for performance.

The back of the pin is stamped DRTSC Cast Exclusive.

PinPics won't allow trading of this particular series because they can not verify this award. Can anyone help in this matter? I do 95% of my trading through them becuase I don't get to the parks very often. I have 6 of these pins and would love to have the option of trading them. Although they are very nice pins. Does anyone have any more information about them?

They were an award that was given out by management at their discretion. They are official Disney pins.
