Earring ?

I thought there was a misc 'tips for women' thread, and I was going to post this there, but I can't seem to find it.

Okay, so Earrings:
This may have been addressed already and, if so, I apologize, but I'm getting very close to travel time and am pretty much out of my beloved time to obsess and read the threads like I'd like to.

Anyway...

I love 'dangling' earrings. I wear them pretty much whenever I go out. And I buy some that I can't quite work into everyday life (Betsey Johnson owns my 'play' fund) and would like to take them on vacation where they belong.
But I'm wondering about the safety (will my danglies tear my ear on SM?) and sense of it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
Also, apologies to the OP on another thread where I'd accidentally posted this. I wasn't trying to highjack the thread, I was just posting while half asleep (we're leaving in a week and I keep waking up with thoughts of "I need to do this")

I wear dangling earrings all the time even at disney.

The only problem I've run into is that I have to be careful when I remove my cross body bag so I don't catch it on the earrings. That hurts!

We just returned from our trip and my sis wore some and had no problems.

I wear hoops often. Most of the time they are never a problem, but on some rides like EE, Runaway Train and Tower of Terror I've noticed they tend to whip me in the face! I say totally wear them,but if it's a fast or bumpy ride you might want to remove them before riding!

Thank you all! I'll go for it and just bring them.
I'd regret it, if I didn't, anyway. Now I'm just trying to decide if I should leave the biggest ones (which tend to be a bit more expensive) behind....sigh...
I think, to be honest, I'm just burnt out on making travel decisions They've all gotten too hard and I'm not usually this indecisive.

I wear dangling earrings all of the time at WDW and haven't had any problems. The only time I don't wear them is at the water park or pools.

My only issue was with fish hook style dangles. Even with the stopper back I still lost one on a ride.
