Early use of tickets on MB

My family is going to DW for the first time this December. We are staying at my aunt's timeshare from 12/6-12/12 then we booked a stay at CBR from 12/12-12/15 with free dining and 7 day MYWPH ticket. In reading these forums I found that the earliest I could use my tickets is 3 days prior to check in. I had planned to use my tickets starting upon our arrival on 12/6. This looks like it may not be possible and I may have to cancel my CBR stay. This is so disappointing and I already booked our flight home on the 15th. I was told by a CM to call the ticket center for confirmation and also to see if I can just book a 4 day package now, arrive on the 6th, then ask if I can add 3 days to my ticket plan. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any other options for me besides canceling our CBR stay? I can't understand why I cannot use a ticket I paid for! Doesn't DW have the technology to make that happen? Please help!

1. Correct.

2. You can always ask.

3. You can certainly buy more tickets, but you can't add "days" to your current 7-day WDW resort package tickets and USE
them earlier than 3 days before your WDW resort package begins.

4. It's because you bought the tickets as part of a WDW resort package.

If you call and CANCEL your WDW resort package tickets, and just
BUY tickets for the right number of days, you CAN use those tickets
ANYTIME.

HOWEVER... if you do cancel your WDW resort package tickets,
you will LOSE your FREE DINING.
