Early Roll Call for 10-31-04 Happy Halloween Cruise aboard the Wonder !!

I second that. I just got done looking over the long-awaited newsletter. Great job Ralph, Thanks.

Welcome to our newest member, the Mills family. I'm sure that by now, you've realized this is a great bunch of people who will give you any information you ask for. We've never been on Disney, so we won't be any help there.

thanks guys, it was a labor of love. just love working with computers. probably should have studied computers in college rather than criminal jusice but its been all Good !!!

Great job Ralph! I just got an ear full from the rest of the family. If I neglected to include their names with the picture, I apologize. Tracy, Anna and Ben. Like Logan, Ben will be having a birthday during the cruise.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. We will be at WDW Oct 28 - 30 and MNSSHP on Oct 28th.

Great job on the newsletter, Ralph!! It's interesting to compare what people really look like after you form pictures in your mind of what you think they look like! Less than a month now, and we can hardly stand it!!:jumping1: :jumping1:

totally awsome newsletter Ralph!!! I printed out the TOT and Meet information to take with us. :) ty for puting all in one place ::yes::

ps,

I have to agree with Marley, we are some good looking people!!

Hey Ralph, I e-mailed you this am. I haven't received the newletter yet:( And am anxiously awaiting it's arrival:hyper:

I'm jealous. Spoke with my TA Thursday and she said my docs wouldn't be available til 2 weeks before we leave:( and was surprised when I told her that I had gotten the flight info on Tuesday and DCL hadn't told her. Think next time I may do it myself or try one of the TA's I read about on the boards. Oh well, live and learn.

i got my docs!!! and right after marley put the halloween stuff in the mail for me:rolleyes: . hey if i had of known that was all it took i would have asked her to mail me something sooner

thanks anyway marley, was a nice thing to do.

Hey Ralph, got the newsletter.:D It's great::yes:: You did a fabulous (sp?) job!:worship: Looking forward to meeting everybody:grouphug:

Started packing stuff tonight. :scratchin Not clothes, but all the good stuff I got off the boards. Wish I could type--I won't send anything incorrect, but darn I have to redo!

Hi everyone!

Ralph...I hate to sound redundant...but the Newsletter is GREAT! Thanks again for all of the hard work you have put into it!! It was great to put a face to alot of our fellow cruisemates!!

The excitement level grows by the day...but I suppose the next 3.5 weeks will crreeeeaaaaappppp by!! Oh well, like I told Logan this morning, part of the fun is the waiting/anticipating/planning of the vacation!! I told him that we needed to put together some TOT bags because whatever hotel we were in on Halloween...they would most likely have TOTer's and we will need to have some treats! He bought it...and agreed...no questions asked!

Bauderbandt...what day is your son's birthday? How old will he be? Did you ever get ahold of Shirley at The Perfect Gift??

Talk to you all soon!

Shana:

He turns 5 on Monday, November 1st....hopefully we'll be in the Bahamas then :bounce: Yes, I did get to speak with Shirley yesterday. I gave her three themes that I want to cover in a gift basket: birthday, halloween, and beach toys. She said she would call me this week. She was also very helpful in giving me some suggestions on lodging for after the cruise. I haven't booked anything yet, still more research to do.

Just a quick update:

On the master list on page 20 of the thread, I have deleted Melvin and Traci from the list (and 2 kids) since we haven't heard from them in months. They must have decided not to go on the cruise.

Pammjo: Do you now have a room assignment?

Mill's Family: I have not officially added you to our TOT list yet. I need to have the names of your children and verify you want your room sign to say "Mill's Family from Orlando, FL". Once you confirm everything, I'll be happy to add you.

I can't believe we are in the twenties now!!

I am going to call DCL next week and see if I can find out when their TOT is. If they know, I'll pass it along.

Marley

hi everyone,

thank you to everyone for your compliments on the newsletter. I am glad you all enjoyed it. I havent received cruise docs yet and can relate to what shana said about time crrrreeeeeaaapppping by. it is for me. I started this group in February, almost 8 months ago and these days seem the slowest to me. however, I do agree that anticipation is part of the fun and I am looking forward to nassau and later on disney world. hoping to get cruise docs by the end of this week. I have a question for anyone who might have the answer.... is there a formal night on the Wonder, if so which day is it and is there a tropical night ? I have looked at various sources and have not been able to find a definitive answer.

Ralph: According to everything I've read and looking just now in my Passporter, there are no theme nights on the Wonder. No formal or semi-formal night and no tropical night. Just the Tropical Buffet on our 2nd night at 11 pm.

Marley

Marley, where in the passporter did you read about the "Tropical Buffet on our 2nd night at 11 pm"?

Did anyone happen to see the changes that are suppose to be taking place now that the Wonder is in dry dock:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=656758

Also, has anyone come across a dis thread for the Oct 28, 2004 Wonder (that is the, 3 day bahama trip right before our trip)?

Bill: The tropical buffet I actuallly got off of a May Navigator but I also knew about it from friends that have gone to it while on the 4 day. She said a lot of kids actually go to it and that they have fun contests for the kids and an awesome buffet and lots of dancing.

The cruise right before ours was actually bought out by a company so I doubt there would be a thread unless someone who works for whatever company it is (what a nice perk!!) was a Diser :)

I apparently spend entirely too much time obsessing about DCL

:teeth:

I just came from my Bunco group tonight and when everyone was asking about next month's meeting, I said "don't ask me, I'll be in Nassau this time next month" :hyper: Can't wait for that chocolate souffle!! Don't miss it if you LOVE chocolate!!

Marley

"I apparently spend entirely too much time obsessing about DCL "
Marley, my DW says the same thing about me.

"Bunco", I thought that was just a St. Louis thing. You and my DW just might have a few things in common to talk about.
