Early Race Registration for DVC "Resale" owners?

Are there any DVC owners out there who only own points purchased via resale after April 2016? If you purchased resale after April 2016, you lose out on perks like AP discounts and the like. I'm wondering if early race registration is considered one of those perks that you don't have access to without purchasing direct.

It’s a link from the Dvc site once you’re logged in. There’s nothing restricting you from getting to that link.

You might be able to go through the registration and sign up through the DVC link, but there could be a chance that they verify and cancel your registration if they see you are an after april 2016 member. That might be highly unlikely but possible. I'm not sure how much the rundisney system would connect with DVC -- they seem to have trouble with their basic websites and IT.
