Early package ticket pick-up

I was told on the phone by a CM that since the tickets are on the MB then they are available early without doing anything. We arrive a day before our package and I wanted to use one of our Fun and More options to do Disney Quest that night. What I am reading here is that I have to go to a park guest relations to do this and I was told wrong?

Did you buy your tickets as part of a RESORT PACKAGE or just as stand-alone tickets?

Tickets bought as part of a WDW Resort Package: Guests need to visit a park Guest Relations for early activation up to three days before resort check-in.

Tickets bought as a stand-alone purchase: No need to visit a park Guest Relations for activation.

BTW, there are no tickets "ON" any MB.
Tickets are registered in your MDE account and can be ACCESSED using a MB.

They are part of a package.

I know the tickets are not "on" the MB but it's like saying I have money "on" a Credit card. I really don't but no one says I use a credit card to ACCESS money from a bank.

It's a very important distinction in this case, as I (and others) have answered dozens of questions from posters who want to know how they can get their tickets "put onto" their new MagicBands.

I understand that some have no clue BUT I do know how it works. Thanks for trying to help clarify something I didn't have trouble with. I was quoting what the CM told me so maybe Disney needs to tell their CMs how to say things. Thanks again for your help.
