Early opening of the parks

I read that if you are staying onsite you can enter the parks say an hour earlier. does anybody know if that also applies to the Water Parks also.

Extra Magic Hours (EMH) are available in the MORNING (one hour early) and the EVENING (three hours later) for resort guests and are for Theme Parks and Water parks.

You can't just "show up an hour early" to ANY PARK, on ANY DAY.

Each park has a SPECIFIC DAY (or EVENING) that the EMH will apply.
