Early October Weather/Attendance???

DH & I are planning a trip - hopefully with friends - for next fall. Our preferred time of year is early/mid November. I noticed, however, that November is a regular season in 2005, so we've bumped our trip plans up to 10/1/05 - 10/8/05. What can we expect for crowds and weather? Will it be terribly different?

Oct 1 is right at the end of the peak hurricane season. Temps will be warmer than November - probably high 80's. Rain more likely. Crowds maybe a little less.

Oct. was beautiful here. It was warm, sunny, not a lot of rain. The parks were crowded. Epcot was especially crowded because of the Food and Wine festival.

We went that same time in 02. Food and wine festival hadn't started yet when we went, but since they expanded it it'll probably be happening when you are there. It didn't rain at all, but of course I lugged the ponchos around all week. The weather was perfect, warm enough to swim, but not too hot. The place was empty when we went, except MK was crowded on Saturday.

It's hot and humid. Not oppressive, but hot. We make the most of the evenings and mornings. We try to chill during the mid-day.

I only responsed because I saw you were from Mass and we are from Maine. So, generally, you will feel like we do temps wise.

We just do a slower pace and flow, as my DH says... We walk through alot more of the AC places than we would in Nov. But, it can be cold in Nov so, you just never know.

We were there on Thanksgiving about 10-12 years ago and it was chilly!

Go and have fun... We really like the warmth now that we know its going to be like that... We just got back on 10/10... already planning the next 2!
