I wanted to know how the crowds and the weather differ between early November and early December.
I am taking my dd6 and am willing to take her out of school, so we are looking for the least crowds and I don't want it to be too cold.

Thanks
Patti

All that link does is take us to a similar thread which then links us back to THIS thread. That's not particularly helpful.

Could anyone answer this question?

Thanks!

I think based on what i have been reading, if you have a choice, early Nov will be better crowd wise if you go after Jersey week so after the 10th but before Thanksgiving.

What exactly is Jersey week?

Early December is nice because the parks are all decorated for the holidays.

Ditto what PP said about going in Dec. over Nov. because it's holiday season. Nothing beats Disney during the holidays, especially if you can do it with lower crowds. MVMCP, the tree at MK, Holidays around the world at Epcot, the Osborne Lights at DHS. It's a no-brainer for me. I'd choose Dec.

Many NJ public schools have off for the NJ Teachers Convention, which this year is November 6,7. This also coincides with the week of Election Day and so, many people just go to WDW for the whole week and only have to take the students out of school for 2 days.

Another vote for December. The holiday decorations and events out-trump a possibility at warmer weather. :santa: :santa: :santa: :santa:

If you are looking for nice weather the first week in December is kind of iffy. You may have 80 degrees or 40 degrees. You can never predict which. We went the first week in December in 2003 and nearly froze our back ends off at the night time shows. It never got to shorts weather. Not one single day. We wore a sweat shirt every day. The following year people said it was in the 80's the entire first week. We went for the Christmas atmosphere so the weather was secondary.

The crowds are getting bigger for Dec. as we have seen over the past few years and the weather can be totally unpredictable. One trip 60's swam one day still comfortable for touring, other trip 70's very comfortable swam here and there quite a few down pours at night- had to change night time plans a lot, other trip, unseasonable warm weather 80's hot for us for touring very nice for swimming. I think Nov. might be better weatherwise and Dec. crowdwise. Tough choice.:)

we have done both.

I prefer early Nov. Weather is more predictable, the Food & Wine is still going, and the crowds are manageable.

Wife prefers early Dec. Christmas decorations. NUFF SAID. It can get very cool then - hard to predict. We froze one year, but we started the trip in shorts & t-shirts.
