Hi! We usually do Disney in April or May, but are thinking of trying Nov. Or Dec. of this year instead. If we go the first week of Nov. would we see any decorations at all? I know the first MVMCP is on Nov 8, but that would be at the very end of our trip. Would there be anything Christmasy going on prior to that? Also is Blizzard beach open in Nov. & Dec. Any tips would be great! Thanks!!

What time during December are you thinking ? If you want to see all the Christmas stuff you better off just waiting for December (if it is early dec). If you are thinking during Xmas holiday then I would pick nov to avoid crowds.

If we did do Dec it would likely be the first week. My kids love the water parks and pools so I'd like to try and include that if possible. And, I'd definitely like to avoid the heavy crowds.

We've gone both months. November was warm enough to swim, but the first week in December (2012) only hit 70. One water park was open and very few people were there because it was really cool most days. I LOVE WDW in December. I can't say enough about how amazing all of the Christmas stuff is. You really won't see much if any Christmas decorations in early November. We went last year from November 12-18 and there was some, but most of it was being put up when we left. But the Osborne Lights were up and amazing, and the MVMCP was happening. Still, it didn't feel like Christmas. Nothing like early December in WDW. But if swimming is a priority, early November will be warm and relatively low crowds.
