Early Morning Magic

Any thoughts why they chose Tuesdays and Saturdays for the Early Morning Magic at Magic Kingdom?

Oh and in case you didn't see it; it looks like these are the official dates...

April 26, 30
May 3, 7, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, 31
June 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28

What is this early morning magic thing??? I just saw that the day we had scheduled to visit MK (May 31) had this going on in the AM. What gives? Someone please explain.

Yipes! I just googled it. No thanks. That is insane! Who is paying these prices??? For 3 rides and a little over an hour? Even with breakfast it's still crazy.

I am a bit confused, I know there is an extra charge early event at MK, which you are talking about above, but is there also a very late extra hours event?

Honestly I feel for those trying to plan FP+ at this point with events being added. Have EMH days remained the same? We will be scheduling an extended family trip later this year and maybe by then I will catch on! We would not consider paying extra for any of these, on top of the regular admission so need to plan around them

1. Yes. "Disney After Hours."
2. I don't see why they affect guests making FP reservations.
3. Such as that is EVER the case. EMH days can change all the time.
4. Some would. Some wouldn't. That's why they can be an advantage if you want a smaller crowd.

Disney After Hours is a special ticketed evening event. They had one last Thurs 14th and I believe the next 5 Thursdays, plus one on Mothers a Day. From the sounds of the reviews of the first one, attendance was so low (supposedly it is capped at a very low number to ensure low wait times) that there is no need to worry about planning around it. Park closes to regular guests at 10p that might. So far, it does not interfere with regular EMH nights.

So with these Early Morning Magic Events (as opposed to the late ones), if we were planning on doing a park from rope drop to 11am, would you avoid MK on one of these days? We were planning to go to MK on June 4 (our departure day).

It remains to be seen if these would have enough guests to actually affect the rest of the day.
They could affect the earliest wait-times of the three attractions that are part of the "event."
But, it's also possible that many of the guests who had arrived for the event would be at breakfast when the MK actually opened to regular guests.

It's been speculated that the "MK Welcome Show" (the rope drop ceremony) might be delayed by 10-15 minutes from its current start-time... to a time just before 9AM.
