Early Morning Characters???

I think I read that a bus comes around to diffferent resorts with characters on it. I need help with a few questions.

1. What time do they come?

2. Do they come to special resorts on special days?

3. How long are they at the resorts?

The times depend on which resort. Some of the resorts are on a Mon,Wed,Fri schedule, and others are on a Tues, Thurs, Sat schedule. The Contemporary, where we stayed in January is on the Tues, Thurs, Sat schedule, and the characters were there about 7:40 in the morning.

Your best bet is when you check in, to get the schedule for your resort. The characters vary, day to day.

The Epcot resorts are on the Monday, Wed, Friday schedule. They arrive at 9am. We were just there last weekend and that was the schedule. We had some lame characters visit us. Pluto was the most popular one there. The rest were unrecognized by most. I think the problem is the Cape May Buffet in the BC. Chip, Dale, Minnie, etc are at the buffet so the can't appear in the lobby. The kids cant see 2 Minnie Mouses. You need to go to the buffet to meet them.

I'm originally from Allentown but have been in south FL for most of my life. Minnie is at Cape May for breakfast and Liberty Tree Tavern in MK for dinner.

Definitely get the schedule from your resort when you check-in.

My tip (especially for kids) -- get there EARLY! My DW and I stayed at WL in May. On the Character Caravan mornings the lobby was packed. The characters stayed out for about 20 - 25 mins., took a break, then came back for about 15 - 20 min. It's not a long visit by any means. So set the alarm clock to give you plenty of time to wake up, get dressed and get to the lobby.

Characters first, breakfast later (sorry Pooh!).

Does any one know if/when the Character Caravan stops at the newly-opened PO-FQ? I know when it stops at PO-Riverside. I wonder if we have to go see the charactes at PO-R lobby, or if it will come by our resort.

It should go to both. It went to both the Beach Club and the Yacht Club.

The lines were a bit long at POR in April. We saw Tweedle DEE and DUM. And 2 others which at this moment I cant seem to recall, maybe I was half asleep when I crawled down to see them. IMO it wasnt very impressive. They stick to a strict time limit.

The lines at the Contemporary in January (New Year's week) were virtually non existant. Timon, Baloo, and Rafiki were there. I had a GREAT time dancing and goofing off with Timon, for about 10 minutes. It probably depends on when you are there.

I called Disney this morning to see if CBR which is our resort is part of the Surprise Morning and, to my surprise the characters make their rounds on MWF @ 8:10and 9:10 am in the food court
