Early January crowds??

Still busy today. Lots of Brazilians. Met several folks from Montreal too. I also have a video from January late 1990’s and park was empty! Would love to be able to walk without being run over by a stroller or ECV. Both happened today.

We have been here since the 1st, I’ll never choose to come this week again. My daughter graduated from college so we had a short window for her graduation trip before starting her new job and thought if we waited til after NYE it would thin out. Yesterday Epcot was noticeably less busy in the morning but Magic Kingdom was just as busy in the afternoon as it’s been all week. A CM at the Main Street gift shop said this year has stayed much busier than last year at this time.

We arrived on 3rd Jan (14 nights) and it’s been extremely busy every day, we have literally not been able to get anymore fast passes once our original 3 have been used in any park! TP had Mk at a 5 yesterday but updated today to say they were mistaken and that it was an 8!! The fast pass queue for Buzz Lightyear stretched right back past the Monsters inc laughter floor entrance but only took about 25mins to get onto the ride, no 4th fastpass though!

I would agree with everyone else in saying there really is no "offseason" any longer. Disney Marathon is coming up this weekend (I think it actually begins today or tomorrow), so it could be busy with the anticipation of racers.
