During early/first seating do you find mid-aged children also in the LAP rotation or is it mostly teens with adults and adults without children? I thought this rotation might also include mid aged simply because of the numbers of families requesting early/first seating.

What age group is defined as mid-aged children?

Thanks for your help.

Our group with kids age 9, 9, and 5 had early seating with LAP rotation on the Magic; at the tables right near ours, there were other families with kids in the 3-5 y.o. range. We were towards the side (great view out the porthole!), and I have to say that I really don't know about the ages of kids in the middle and far side of the room.

We also had the LAP early seating rotation with our DS9 and DD6. There was a table next to us with 2 DD ~3. They weren't feeling good several nights and cried a lot :(

I'm pretty new at this but from what I understand you can request a rotation but it is not guaranteed. Although it does sound like DCL tries to accommodate as much as possible. I don't know how far in advance they set the rotations. Maybe someone can help us with that question.
