Early Feb??

We were planning on going to WDW in Nov. but after we heard about the Pirates /Princess event we decided to change it to the first week in Feb.

Now I have a zillion questions~ how is the weather that time of year? The crowds? We'll go to the event on Feb. 5th and 8th.... we're giving up going to MVMCP ... which we've been to several times. I hope we won't be disappointed.
It's a value time frame... so I'm guessing no big school vacations? Or holidays that would mess us up? I homeschool so I like to travel when schools are in.

Is going to Disney that time of year a good idea? We'll be traveling from NC.

We went last Feb.
I love off season
Weather was good....cool in the evenings and mornings, but it was nice the rest of the time (but of course, it is all relative to what you are used to).
Crowds are minimal.....that is freat!!
Crowds pick up around Presidents Day.
