ok, this may be long but here goes...
Early entry (or EE) is a perk for guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel
there is no extra cost
each day one of the 4 major theme parks open 1hour early for these guests (must have proof of staying onsite ex. room key or pass)
only certain attractions are open for EE so check ahead of time and make a plan
the EE park of the day tends to get majorly crowded by noon, since not only are all the onsite guests there but the other guests start filtering in
my recommendation: get to EE park before actual EE time, so if EE time is 8:00 am get there by 7:45\
make a beeline for the most popular attractions (these will be crowded later)
use that hour to ride or see what you can, do not waste valuable time studying park maps etc.
when the park gets crowded, hop to another park
Also EE tends to work great at AK and MGM (Magic kingdom gets very crowded on EE day so plan to leave in the afternoon)
here is an example of using EE at MGM
get to park early 7:45
when open for EE guests- head to ToT ride
immediatly exit ToT and ride RnRC
if time: see muppet show and any other EE attractions you can
grab fastpass for anything you want to ride again
by now the park should be open to other guests
enjoy the park until it gets too crowded then hop out
hope that helps!! have fun!
