Early Entry??

If you are staying at one of the DL hotels do hotel guests get early entry every day or just certain days? If only certain days is there a specific schedule like at WDW?

Is early entry available at both DL and CA?

EE is only available at DL, and is generally offered M, Tu, Th, and Sat. (Special events may results in a change to the standard schedule). Most of the rides in Fantasyland and a couple of Tomorrowland rides are open, with portions of the park roped off until scheduled opening. There is no EE available for DCA, although the gates generally open to all guests 1/2 hour early, and Soarin' is usually open during that 1/2 hour. (Most of the park is roped off).

Guests at the Disney hotels currently get EE for any of the days that it is offered by showing their charge slip. Guests with park hopper plus tickets get one EE regardless of where they stay. (Note -- not all park hoppers, and especially not all of those of 2 days and less are park-hopper plus tickets with EE).

The DLR hotels offer as an unofficial perk early entry to Disneyland on the days it's offered, which are Mon, Tue, Thu, and Sat. There is an early entry perk to DCA for guests of the Grand Californian where they get in a half hour before other guests.

Other guests, not staying at the DLR hotels can get one early entry to Disneyland when they get the park hopper plus tickets (3+ days) with packages through the Walt Disney Travel Company, or agencies like Dreams Unlimited Travel who book through WDTC.
