Do you all agree witha that rule? I have heard that is is best to take advantage of early entry but them to levae b/c those parks get really crowded when the other people come in? I am not sure if it is worth spending an hour changing parks on all of thjose days?

i don't agree w/the do an hour of the ee park and run... what we have had success with is to do the ee park 'til lunchtime... and as it starts to get crowded and hot, then run (preferably back to your on-site hotel for a swim or nap, but to another park is not a bad idea either) i found that if we got the "big" stuff out of the way first thing (i.e. at AK, the safari or in MK fantasyland or the mtns) we could do the lesser attractions/rides in the second and third hour while the newcomers are concentrating on what we just did (the biggies) so you still do not have long waits... then, after about 3 hours, it's not a bad idea to scoot (and you will have accomplished quite a bit!)

hth :)

We always do this! :) We get up & go to EMH every day of our trips. MK we get all of Fantasyland done during the first hour & usually Space Mtn & Buzz Lightyear, too. Then when the park opens up we head to Frontierland, Haunted Mansion & the Pirates. We have had great success getting this all done well before lunchtime. Some of this may depend on what time of year you go (we go in the off seasons.)

After finishing all of MK, we love to head back to the hotel & cool off in the pool, or just relax for a bit. Then we usally head to a different park for a change of pace. This works really well for us - it's fun to visit different parks in the same day - one park from open to close would get old to me.

HTH!:)

When I do EE, I generally stay till 11-12, then switch parks or just go back to the hotel. I find the parks start to get busy then from the non on-site guests.

Another vote for this approach especially at MK. Sometimes we'll schedule our Crystal Palace lunch at 11:30A and sit while everyone else is running around and as the lunch crowd becomes crowded we are finished and leave the park.

We go to the EE park every day. Sometimes we stay till noon , sometimes later and if DW is in her Bataan Death March mode we have gotten their early and left a close. And I thought vacations were supposed to be relaxing.

As noted above, you can get most of the popular, crowded rides done by noon. We are kids were smaller, we always left about noon for an afternoon nap then came back.

However, we they go older, we made PS at one of teh three hotels on the monorail route (about 1pm) and used that as a break to relax.

When we get back, about 3ish, it's still crowded. But that's when you see COP, TK, Pirates, Hall of Presidents. You can also time to get back right before the afternoon parade and hit some rides while that is going on.

I just don't buy the claim that EE days are much more crowded in the afternoon than non-EE. They're all crowded in the afternoon. You may just notice it more because you got up so early and are already feeling the drain.

We just got back last week and our strategy was to do EE and leave that park by 1-2 o'clock. It was so hot and getting crowded by the afternoon (especially MK) we just didn't have the patience or energy to deal. We went back to our resort for lunch, napped or swam, then had a great dinner somewhere. It worked out really well for us.

This plan seems to work well for families kids. We have ds 4 and ds 7. Even when we eat in the room they seem to eat so slow. When the parks are busy (like easter mk hours were 8am-12am) wouldn't EE be at 7am. I'm not sure we could make it this early. What are your secrets to get your kids moving this early. I'm thinking of not feeding them until we get to the parks...maybe just some chocolate milk when they get up or something?
