Paying annual Dues monthly

Were you trying to make partial payments or pay in full? My experience is if auto pay is on, you can use a CC or GC. But that option is only available if you're paying the contract in full. Obviously this still won't work if your balance is more than $1K and you're trying to use gift cards.

In that instance, you'd have to turn off auto pay in order for the system to allow partial payments and use the multiple GCs to pay it off. That's why right now I'm getting all my contracts just under $1K, so later I can pay them off whenever without hassle.
I was paying the remaining balance in full.

I just want to make sure I understand. I have three contacts that are set up on auto-pay. I would like to pay for all of my dues with GCs, but to do that I must pay by January 15th or else my bank account will be charged, correct? Is there a way to pay some in January, some in February, and the remainder in March using only GCs?

In order to pay after Feb 15th, it has to be in full when on auto pay.

If the plan is that you will pay the full balance off in March, you can turn off autopay and pay it in full with the GC.

But will funds be deducted from my bank account in January and February--even if partial funds have been paid with a GC?

ETA: Just trying to figure out a way to hold on to my funds for as long as possible without having to pay any with a bank account. I know used to you could make partial payments with a GC and it would move your payments back. So like could I make a partial payment in January and a partial payment in February using GCs and then pay it all off in March with GCs as long as the partial payments are more than what the monthly payments are?

I believe that still works…you will know for sure when you make a payment in January…or now for that matter. It will adjust the monthly payment if it still works like that.

I had an extra GC I just used to pay for most of my January payments (had to use a CC for a small portion), but it moved my payment to February when I turned on auto-pay again. So my question is this: If I turn off auto-pay and pay February payments with a GC, can I turn auto-pay back on before February 15 (which should move my next payment to March) and then pay off the entire balance before March 15?

Oh and all of my contracts are currently under $1000 each. When I pay off the remainder of each, can I have three GCs and pay each off separately, OR does the total have to be under $1000 because they are all paid at once?

Someone mentioned it can’t go back on after Jan 15th…even though you don’t get hit with late fees until after Feb 15th. but I not 100% sure about that.

I’d call accounting for that one. Some reported last year they had to call accounting to use more than one GC.

Can anyone tell me if this plan makes sense? I need to go ahead and pay February's payment with a GC BEFORE January 15, then turn autopay back on. That should move my next payment to March 15. Then in March (before the 15th), I can call MS and pay with two GCs. Would this avoid the late fee?

I think that should work!!!
