I searched but couldn't find what rides at Universal Studios are open during early entry. We are staying at RPR Dec 5-9. And are there rides in IOA open during early entry in outside the Potter area?

thanks.

I meant "outside" the Harry Potter area.

No. We were just there Nov 3rd and 4th. We got through with the Harry Potter area early and tried to walk through Jurassic park and they had a CM there stopping everyone telling us that only the Harry Potter World area was open that early. We told him we just wanted to get back to the front of the park. He told us we had to go back through the Forbidden Continent and Suess Land then, but nothing would be open over there either. By the time we got to Suess Land the rest of the park finally opened.

Yep, they have done that since I can remember. We sometimes just hang out until EE is over and then walk thru Jurassic. .

Thanks for the info.

I thought there were a couple of rides at US open during early entry like Rip Ride Rocket and maybe Despicable Me. No? No early entry at US?

There is not currently any early entry for US, but they occasionally 'soft open' the park to everybody if they are all ready early. When that happens it is most often Despicable Me, Shrek 4D, and Rockit. If they bring back early entry for busy holiday season then it would be for those rides.

This summer a couple of rides were open at USF. That is when they were highlighting Despicable Me. Also, when Spiderman had reopened it was also included in early admission.

We are here at Disney and going to Universal Royal Pacific Resort Tues. night. Do we need to go to the parks early (and how early - 1 hr?) or just use our front of the line pass? But Harry Potter is worth doing early entry from what I've read?

Definitely go to Early Entry for Harry Potter. The main ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as well as the Ollivander Wand Show do not accept Express Passes (and the lines get LONG during the day), so your best bet will be during that early hour (8AM-9AM). Be sure to get there around 20 minutes prior to 8AM as they usually open the gates early :thumbsup2

when i was at the darkside in october, those that booked the breakfast held at La Bamba could get the early entry for the Studios side.

some rides were open early but don't remember which ones.

of course, this may have changed now. :confused3
from what others have posted, i am guessing it has.
