Early entry questions

We're planning our October trip to DL. We've got at least 6 days (Friday through Wednesday) to spend on property--staying at VGC. I know we can do early entry since we're staying on property, but I think I've heard there are some changes and I want to be informed...
Which days does DL have early entry?
Does DCA have an official early entry program now too? Opposite days as DL?
Do you still get into DCA through the resort entrance 30 minutes early and have access to Soarin' and FP for the nighttime show? Only on non-early entry days?


We have tickets for Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness. What happens there?

If you were spending 6 days at DL/DCA and like to take advantage of the early morning to go on rides with minimal wait, how would you plan your entries each day? Which day would you use TTMM tickets?

Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness is offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday's if you have a voucher. This voucher entitles you to enter ToonTown when Disneyland opens, instead of 1 hour after Disneyland opens which is the normal opening time for ToonTown.
During this extra hour, you will have the opportunity to meet with the characters that live in ToonTown. You will be able to ride Gadget's Go Coaster and Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. You will even have the opportunity to become an honorary citizen of ToonTown. And one family will be the Honorary Family of ToonTown

you also get a jump on getting character photos there instead of standing in line which seems like forever when toontown opens to everyone. We used our ticket and was able to ride the rides and meet all the characters and get buttons that said we were honorary toons. usually roger rabbits line is a bit big for the ride and mickeys line is usually huge so I am glad we were able to do this early.

Thank you! Sounds like TTMM is well worth it (especially with 4 little kids.) Now, any advice on which day we should fit it in?

Is the DCA early entry something that is sticking around into October?

Do you still get into DCA a little early on the non early entry days like you used to ride Soarin' and get WOC FPs? Or is this done over now because of an official early entry? Is the DCA early entry only from the resort entrance? I can't imagain it is because there is no place for a line of the magnitude I would guess it would be.

Do AP holders get in early? There is one day we may go to DL or DCA that we are not staying on property.

Thanks for pointing out that thread! Still have 2 questions...is there an ideal day for TTMM? Perhaps on a day that also has EMH at DL?

Perhaps no one knows until EMH ends at both parks on 9/30, but wondering if there will still be the unofficial early entry though the resort entrance to DCA on the non EMH days. Probably not, right?

Not really an ideal day for TTMM. Since only a very small percentage of guests have it (and a smaller # use it), every day that it's offered should have short lines for everything.

Most likely also there will not be unofficial early entry into DCA on non-EMH days after 9/29. They might let guests in 15 min early to explore Buena Vista Street and grab a Starbucks, but we'll see once October gets here.
