early entry days

whats the best way to take advantage of the early entrance rides and what time should one be turning up at the gates etc....

EMH opens an hour before the actual parks, for onsite guests, so 8.00 is fine.

I would say highlight the big rides first as queues build up here when the park opens officially. Plan accordingly, and use fast pass for the others.

Yep they will open at 8am - get there a little before that and go to each park's 'headliners' to get them out of the way so to speak

We are at WDW at xmas when parks open early at 8.00am normal time so is Early entry 7.00? OMG!!

We used EMH this summer, now it might be different in winter, but it was hell on wheels. We only got on one ride straight away and we were given a switch pass by a CM to get to the front as we were on honeymoon. The rest of the 'good' rides dont open til normal time ie. Spalsh thunder etc. and by then the park is stacked, I wouldnt do EMH again.
