Early entry (among other things) returning to resort hotels!

I love the Preferred Dine Access for DLR Hotel guests (Hotel table service restaurants). I've always thought they should have a perk like that. Excited to see when it's launched.

I mean it's nice and everything......but 30 minutes? 30 minutes? Why not shoot for the moon and give us an hour?
It's 30 at WDW too and it was really helpful while there.

I actually think this is a better deal for resort hotel guests then the previous arrangement..

-it's at both parks daily. No more rotation.

-as of current it seems magic morning is dead and this is truly a disneyland resort hotel guest perk only.

YES! Thank you!! Exactly a day after my trip, thank all the gods and everything in between!! I was so not looking forward to my rope drop plans being tarnished.
:jumping1:

They are really pushing the limits of “this summer” lol. DD starts school a week after August 8. Yes I know summer technically lasts until September but come on.

I am very torn about this happening after our visit. An extra 1/2 hour would have been nice but I am also glad I won’t feel like I have to wake up 1/2 hour earlier!

I agree. Chapek's "bean counting" is really starting to show.

We stayed at the GCH for the first time in April and based on our friends' past experiences, I was expecting them to print key cards with our names (which I thought would be a neat souvenir), but they just asked how many we wanted and we got blank keys. Is it safe to assume that with early entry they'll go back to the old practice of printing individual keys with names for each guest 3+ to be used to verify early entry eligibility?

Glad for everyone who is staying onsite, we chose a goodneighbor hotel due to their not being any real perks to the onsites…

How will this affect rope drop for us peasents?

ROTR and all the other major rides will already have long lines then?
With it being DLR hotel guests and only 30 minutes, we have to wait and see. May not be too bad.

I have 5 day park hoppers staying on site and had originally planned my days presuming the old EMH schedule would apply.

I'm now thinking of rebooking my park reservations since that's no the case.

Any thoughts on which park I should do EMH in on which days?
