I have a 8:25 ADR for 5/11 for Crystal Palace will I be able to get into the park early enough to get a few pics of my DS's on a fairly empty main street or should I keep trying for a earlier time? TIA for any advice :cutie:

We had an 8am on Crystal Palace and my recollection was that at about 7:55, they brought in EVERYONE who was already waiting at the turnstiles, regardless of actually reservation time (as long as it was before park opening, I guess?). Then we checked in at a podium and we were seated based on the order we were checked in there, NOT our actual ADR time. This was a year and a half ago and this was at least how it SEEMED to me so I would say if you are at the turnstiles by 7:45 you are probably going to have no problem getting in.

And if not, they seemed to take people in big groups. If they make you wait until 8:15 or so, the 8:00 crowd will all be seated already and Main Street will once again be desserted, so either way I think you will get what you are after.

Our experience is the same as the PP.

Last year, we had an 8:05 am ADR, & everyone w/ early ADRs was going into the MK at the same time. I don't even remember them checking our name & confirming we had an ADR.

A family w/ an 8:15 ADR checked in before us & were seated before us.

So I think 8:25 will be fine for those empty Main Street pics! ;)

One thing nice about an earlier ADR (like 8:05ish) is that normally you'd be finished right around 9:00 am, so you're not really missing any park time.
