Early December

Hello everyone

DBF and I will be going to WDW in 2017 for two weeks for our honeymoon. It will be my first Disney trip, yay! He's been once when he was a kid, but AK wasn't finished yet. We are thinking December 2-16. It'll be extra special because it'll be his 30th on the 3rd and my 26th on the 11th.

Just wondering if anyone can give us some info or advice for visiting during the first two weeks of December. Any advice is appreciated

You can expect beautiful Christmas decorations. Pop warner will also be happening in early December. Have a great honeymoon. Also I suggest you do Mickeys very merry Christmas party. I think it is a must at least once.

Be prepared for temperatures anywhere from the 30s to the 80s!

Hopefully you'll get the 80s!

We were there last Dec. 10-17 and it was fabulous! Decorations in full bloom all over, fantastic weather (we got very, very lucky) low-ish crowd levels. Very fun. Enjoy!

HISTORICALLY, this has been a GREAT time to visit. Crowds a lower than usual, weather is not overwhelming hot (dressing for the 40s is easier than dressing for 110s), and decor is out in full force.

That said, this year and history have not cooperated, so be prepared for just about anything.

MK will close early on certain nights for MVMCP, but watching the MVMCP fireworks from the MK resorts is FANTASTIC! Plan park visits accordingly due to this.
