Early December discount watch

Thinking of going in early/mi December either before or after a cruise. Any idea historically when discounts on rooms and/or free dining offers come out?

DH & I always go to WDW & stay at POFQ. We arrive the Sunday after Thanksgiving & stay about 1 week, which is the 1st week in December, of course.

Last year, POFQ did not qualify for the up to 30% & the included DDP. But it had been included every year before that. Other hotels were included in the offers for that 1st week of December.

I don't recall the exact date when the offer was announced, but we start watching in August & I think it's always been offered in August.

From what I've found online, there was a room only discount offered last year. We are looking at value for the week after thanksgiving and I think it was 15% for pop. Also, the rack rates are lower the first couple of weeks.

I'm also watching and waiting for a RO discount for that first week of December. Getting jittery while waiting for any sign of one this year.
