Early deals or best to wait last minute???

We have our annual trip to WDW in January 2007 but this year we managed to do a last minute deal in Sep/Oct.

We really loved this time of the year with the hotter weather and Halloween that we want to go again at this time next year.

I cant wait to book, as I feel so much better when it is and I can start the countdown. My husband says we should wait and get a last minute deal again.

Do any companies have early booking deals or are we best waiting nearer the time/last minute?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Book now and get free dining! The offer for UK and international residents runs until Nov. 6th. If you want to go to Disney for Halloween next year then free dining is offered now click here you can arrive as late as Sept. 29th and get the free dining for the length of your stay, a real treat and money saver . You can book through the Disney UK web site for a 100 pound deposit or book though I believe Virgin or Thomas Cook to add flights.

We missed the free dining by a month for this years trip and I'm still kicking myself!

To be honest, if you have set ideas and plans on when you want to go, who with etc etc, then you might be better off booking early to avoid any disappointment. On the other hand if your dates are flexible and you are willing to take a chance then you will probably get a good last minute deal. I booked our recent trip at the end of Aug and we flew out on the 17th September. We got VA flights for £490 return for the 2 of us and managed to get discounted rooms at AKL and WL using the public code, for our week in WDW. The other week we spent in Naples at a beautiful little boutique hotel that was only about £40 per night. The only other expense was the car hire which was no problem to book last minute.

Ilooked myself this year as we were looking for a last minute break in september and I found first choice had some amazing offers for the weeks in the middle of sept onwards for 2 weeks.For 2 adults and our 4year old daughter staying at the all stars was £980.!!!! I was shocked as we have paid £3400 for 2 weeks going in november for 2 weeks(although this is our wedding and we are doing the DD and had all the tickets).I think september is a good month to go.I have been 4 times twice in late september once in october and once in november and I did find that september was a good time to go.This year its november and an 8 night saty at pop cent and 6 nights at carribbean beach.Going with Virgin.
Good luck.It is whether you want to take the risk and leave it till last minute.If you stay outside disney I think you will have a better chance of getting a cheap deal but for the best experience I would stay in disney.Its truly magical

Book early, better to pay a little more than be dissapointed when you cannot get your flights.
October is a pretty popular time to go too.
