We will be arriving at the Swan fairly early after our cruise and am wondering what the early check-in policy is. Can we park the car, drop off our bags go to Epcot and go back later to check in? Also is there a place to buy tickets right at the Swan? Thanks.

We only tried to check in early once, this was because we had an early flight arrival. The front desk cm reminded us check in is at 3. Another time my dh went around 1 after we switched from the Poly and amazingly we got our room then. There is a desk at the Swan where you can buy tickets.

Thanks. I don't necessarily want to check in early because we want to get to Epcot ASAP, but I want to know if we should just park and leave our bags in the car or if they will hold them at the check in area until 3.

I have been able to get into my room at the Swan as early as 11 a.m., but you can't count on that. If I had a car, I would probably leave my luggage in the trunk and go to the parks. You know there's a $7/day parking charge at the Swan, right?

If you need at least 5 day hopper tickets, they will be less expensive if purchased in advance.

I've checked in at 11:00 at the Swan and have had no problems. The room was ready but I didn't expect it and was just going to leave my bags in the car until it was. Yes, you can park there - just tell the gate guard you are checking in that day. You don't actually have to check in right away but if you are there, why not? At least you'll get the paperwork handled and if they don't give you the room keys (like Disney does), you just have to pick those up later. That's happened to us lots of times at offsite places when we've checked in early.

And yes, there is a place at the Swan to purchase tickets. You can also get your tickets at the International Gateway ticket booths which are almost never crowded.

If your room is not ready, they will be more than happy to store your luggage. I would do that over leaving it in the car, so you don't have to park and drive back over to the lobby to bring your luggage in. When your room is ready and you return they can just take your luggage up then. :goodvibes
