Early check-in at Royal Pacific?? Luggage?

We are transferring from a Disney Resort to Royal Pacific on Jan 3. We want to get there around before the park opens in order to get our keys for FOTL.

How can we find out what the park hours are for January? Universal website only seems to have up to December.

If our room is not ready (I don't expect it to be at 7:30 AM) will they store our luggage that early in the morning so we can go to the park?

I'm also assuming we can get our keys at that time for FOTL

Star Service will hold your luggage if your room is not ready. I haven't checked in quite that early, but have read here about people who have. You might get lucky and your room be ready. I don't know about park hours. I wonder why they aren't on the website. They usually have them up months in advance. We were there last January but it was later in the month. It seems I remember the parks closing around 6:00 - 7:00pm.

we checked in there at 9am in May and they did have a room open, so they might at 730. we were planning on them just storing our luggage for us. instead, we just had them bring it up to the room since it ended up being available.

They will hold your luggage at check-in until you come back to the hotel and get your room. The front desk will give you a card with a number to call to see if your room is ready. One thing you might want to do is call USO a day or two ahead of your arrival and check park opening times. We did this last April and they told us the parks were having an unoficial early opening of 8am that was not being published. It was great because there was nobody on any rides and we breazed through most of the big ones befroe the park was crowded.

They will also give you your room keys in advance which will give FOTL benifits and be your actual room key when you return to the hotel.
