Early Character BrkFast Bus Update from CRO...

Here is yet another piece of the puzzle, this one from CRO (and others) tonight. I was changing some PS' (or are they called AR's now?) and asked the CM about the on again off again early character meal bus. She told me to hold on while she checked with her supervisor. She took so long (about 10 mins) I thought she had forgotten, but she finally came back.

She told me she checked with her supervisor, they both then went to a transportation supervisor, and then all 3 of them went to someone in "dining planning" to make sure they had the correct answer.

The bottom line is they all agreed that the early busses are still running and they were not aware of any plans to stop them. Most of them start between 7:15 and 7:30. She also told me that if anyone is unsure, or has questions to check in with the front desk at your resort. If for any reason, the busses are not in fact running, the front desk will find a way to get you to your PS in time.

This particular CM seemed to be on the ball and seemed very sincere in trying to get the correct answer for me. So take this for what it's worth. I for one am going to inform my front desk the night before about my 8:00am for Donalds and my 8:10 for CP.

Thanks so much for posting this info. We also have an 8:00 PS at Donald's and an 8:10 for Crystal Palace. I was really worried about getting to them. I too will be letting the Front Desk know the night before.

This is what I was told too when I called a few days ago.
We have PS at Donald's for 8am and PS at Crystal Palace for 805
Dining called over to the WL and they told us the buses should be running early.
I will check w/front desk both nights before our brkfsts.

I also made an early lunch PS at CP for the same day and I have a later Donald's PS a morn during our 2nd wk - just in case. (Hoping I can cancel both these if/when we get our early brkfsts)

I really hope that this information is correct. The reason I hesitate is that I have been given bad bus information from the front desk, as have many others. I hope Tyler reads this and can either confirm this or correct the info. Tyler has always stated in the past never to trust transportation info from anyone not wearing purple pants.

Could it be no character meal busses for those meals at resorts like 1900 Park Fare at GF and Cape May at BC?

Unfortunetly, I myself am no longer wearing the purple pants... so as such, I'm not to be trusted. Of all the people I've asked, everyone gives me a different answer. *sigh*

I asked the same question on another thread, and i feel that if Disney offers early PS's (whatever time) then they should provide whatever type of transporation period.

Uh, I agree!
We were unable to get Cindy's breakfast for the 16th on my daughter's birthday but were able to get early PS for Crystal Palace that day. They BETTER have a bus that will get us there that early- otherwise why book the PS that early??? We won't have other transportation- we're using the buses (staying onsite ofcourse)
