The earliest Port Arrival Time you can select is 10:30 for the Dream class ships and 11:00 for the Magic.

Thank you....I am going on Fantasy, so I take it its the same as the Dream, if I choose a 10:30 slot, am I able to arrive earlier then that like 10:00?

No, the terminal/port doesn't open until 10:30 for new cruisers. Prior to that time they are still getting the returning cruisers out of the port area.

If you select a 10:30 PAT, and arrive at 10:00 you will most likely be asked to go away and return later.

Sorry to steal this thread but....
if you rent a car and have a 10:30 PAT time should you be dropped off at 10:30 and then have your husband take the shuttle back or should we be dropped off earlier so that he arrives to port (after returning the car) at 10:30?

Well, AFAIK, you won't be able to even get in the port/terminal area until 10:30 (maybe a little earlier, 10:15, but I wouldn't count on it), so I'd say drop off at 10:30 with him returning as soon as he can get back.

He'll be getting back from the car rental place a little earlier than the people who take their whole group to the rental place (with luggage), as it's easier to get one person on the shuttle than a whole group with bags.

We had an early PAT time. Our cars dropped us off pre 10:00, we unloaded everything and then were directed to the third floor of the parking garage where we waited for my husband and brother to return. As we stood there, lots of people were still coming off the cruise. So you can be there early, but plan on hanging out in the parking garage and making friends with your fellow cruisers.

Have your DH drop you and the luggage off. Make sure he keeps his DL to get past the security at the gate to confirm against the manifest. He can then join you in the terminal. You can get in line to check everyone in with his BC or PP. If you get through the line before he returns, he can take his security photo before boarding the ship when they scan your KTTW card.
