Our flight gets into MCO at 6AM - which I anticipate us arriving at our hotel (ASMo) by 7AM. Generally, if you arrive THAT early, do they usually have a room or 2 available or is it just head off to the parks and come back later and you MIGHT have a room by then??

Hi,

It's unlikely that there will be a room available.

But...you can check in, store your bags, and head off for a full day of fun! They will also give you a number you can call to see if/when your room is ready.

Check in when you arrive...if there is no room available, they will give you a card to call for your room assignment later and you can be at the parks for rope drop. Then when you return, you will have check-in all squared away and can rest/swim.

Hello fellow West Coaster! We often take a red eye and arrive that early. While we've never stayed at ASMo, at several other resorts we've been about half and half on a room being available at that time. On our most recent trip last September we did have to wait awhile until the Poly front desk opened, which it did promptly at 7 a.m. That trip they did have something immediately available, although it wasn't our originally assigned room. So it *can* happen but you can't count on it. Good luck!

we're in same situation almost....we arrive at about 8:30 at CSR. I do hope there is a room available, and I'll take just about anything:goodvibes .

Guess I got lucky when I checked in at 7:30 am at the Yacht Club my room was ready & the room I requested. Guess luck of the draw but if not ready they will hold your bags & off you go to the parks as they will add the tickets to you KTW.

Well considering you are at a value in summer, I wouldn't count on it. We arrived once (in Sept) at 9 am. No rooms. Did the "call this number on card" route, went to grocery for a few items, to CM for lunch and afterwards at 1:30 pm they did have room available.

Maybe you will get lucky, especially if you had no special requests attached to your reservation....but I would mentally plan and pack accordingly so you could be ready to check your bags at bell services and go off to the park !

We regularly take the red eye from Seattle and arrive at MCO at 7am. We have never had our room available. Luckily just two adults and no kids. We have our usual napping places in the parks, e.g. Hall of Presidents, that helps in a pinch.

We arrived from Portland, Oregon last summer to POP around 10:30 am, we did not get our room until around 4:30. I say bring a carry on with you so you can have some clothes to enjoy the pool, or hit the parks until your room is ready. Just make sure you sleep as much as you can during your flight.

If rooms are available, there will not be any problem checking in that early. If no rooms are available at that time you pre-check in. You receive your keys to the world and a number to call to find out when your room is ready. Drop your carryons with luggage assistance, go off and enjoy your first day. That afternoon call the phone number and you'll find out your room number. Your keys will automatically work for your room so you wont have to stop by the front desk again.

It all depends on how busy the resort is when you check in. We have been able to get a room early most of the time but there is always the possibility of having to wait, which we have done as well.
