Early admission

What's the current situation? You still only get the early entry for US and not for IOA?

Only in peak times are both parks open for early admission. Right now, Universal is the only park open for early admission.

Currently ONLY the studios and at the studios ONLY Despicable Me, Gringotts and the Shops in Diagon Alley. Hogwarts express doesn't run till both parks open, but they will allow you to line up earlier.
Both parks only have early entry when its peak crowds, and even then it is NOT a guarantee and only announced a few days-weeks beforehand

Is it better to do early entry at US and take Hogwarts Express over to IoA or to walk over to IoA when it opens? This will be after a full day at US the day before.
