Yes, I've done this three times, but I always worry about the flight home, so I always book late so that I don't have to worry.
But now I am booking a flight for a family member who is flying home to a different city, and she would prefer a direct flight (on Airtran) which departs at 2:25 pm. Will that be within the window of safety? We are sailing on the Dec 12th Wonder.
