This is probably old news to most; but I was excited. I signed up my husband and I for the Earl of Sandwich Club because I heard they send something at your birthday AND I thought we might get coupons. We each got a free sandwich the next day via email. No special dates or restrictions!

Needless to say; we will be going there on our trip next month!! Thought I would share because a free dinner (or almost free after I add a drink) is a great way to help your DL budget!

Thanks for sharing. We've never eaten there, but I've heard good things. Was there an expiration date for the free sandwich? I'd like to join the club to get freebies for our Nov. trip, but I don't want to do it too early if the offer expires before we could use it.

Two of my kiddos have a b-day in Nov. I'm going to see if I they allow kids to sign up for a free bday surprise!

I signed up this week and the expiration on the certificate is 11/22 so about 30 days.

The sandwiches here are great. I recommend the holiday turkey or the Italian. The coupon is really nice for us as hubby and I have our b-days a week apart so it is a free meal for us both. When I signed up I also got a coupon for a free brownie, which sound blasé but was actually very delicious.

You were most fortunate about the brownie, because normally only the blase brownies are given for free, while the really great brownies cost $5 to start.

I got my free sandwich back in September

For those concerned about international visitors, I'm in Australia and didn't have any problems - I just used the Anaheim zip code when it asked me.

I also signed up to the Landry's Club and got a $25 voucher for my birthday. It does cost you $25 to join, but you get a $25 voucher just for joining, so it evens up as long as you definitely do have a meal at Rainforest Cafe or Bubba Gump.

I got a $30 voucher from the Patina Group, and it was free to join. I didn't feel like eating at any of their DTD restaurants though so it went to waste

I plan to do the same again next year

Thanks for the "fun" response back. I just meant that sometimes brownies aren't that exciting or packaged ones can be kind of dry. But thanks for letting me know I was lucky.
