That's pretty good, the chips, because when we went in 2005, we only got a sandwich, or a salad with a large cookie or brownie and a drink. Maybe they changed things after our visit, as the DDP was new then, oh well.
We just went yesterday and we got a sandwich or salad, a baked good (like cookie, brownie, or cupcake) and a fountain drink. You might be able to trade the dessert for chips, but you can't get both on one CS credit.
Just wanted to add - last Fall we got a sandwich, dessert & drink - the cupcakes are delicious and a good break from the standard chocolate cake dessert that we got tired of at the parks.
I must remember to try Earl of Sandwich when we go in November. Everyone always raves about it and it sounds like the perfect lunch or lite dinner option.

We ate there on our 2004 trip and it really was very good for a sandwich joint and was cheap too. The ddp didn't exist then and I think it was under $15 for the three of us to eat. We plan on going back there this time on our trip to DTD.
For those not using the DDP at Earl, it seemed to me that prices had gone up a tiny bit since our visit in March of '06. I seem to remember the tomato soup, green side salad, and coleslaw being .95. Now the the soup is $1.95! It's still a good deal, the sandwiches were as good as ever, and the cupcake is still $1.45, so I can't really complain
