Ear plugs?

We're taking my DS (2) for his 1st WDW trip in August and I am concerned about his ears during fireworks & shows. Does anyone have any reccomendation for ear protection/ear plugs?

Haven't used them though. The noise never really seemed to bother ds too much.

We bought a box of Howard Leight Laser Lite ear plugs when my DD was younger. She was very sensitive to sound and we used them in all the shows. They have a cord attaching them together which was nice so they didn't fall if one fell out. I still have quite a few pairs if you would like to try them. They are sealed in individual pairs. Just PM me your address and I'll send some to you if you would like to try them.

My hearing is somewhat sensitive so I like to have earplugs with me when I know I will be in a loud environment (especially concerts, etc.) and my preference has to be the ER-20s by Etymotic Research.

They do cost a bit more than simple foam earplugs but they can be reused for a long time. What I like is that they lower the level of sounds but do not distort or muffle the sounds very much at all. It appears that they now stock sizes for kids / those with smaller ears.

While I am not sure I will need them while at Disney this summer (I haven't been in 12 years) I will definitely have them in my bag in case I want them.

I just bought a package of Mack's Ear Plugs for Kids at Target for my DD3. There are a lot of them in the pack. I liked them because they're disposable and each pair has multiple uses (3 IIRC), they're made of silicone so they just smoosh over the ear opening instead of actually going inside the ear, and they're waterproof. I haven't used them yet as our trip isn't until May, but they seemed like a decent, inexpensive option.
