mom is up and feeding them, it looks like...

Do females have the same coloring as males? That looked like a male to me. Do you suppose he/she is trying to cover them to protect from predators? The one little guy is not co-operating, lol! Yum, breakfast!!! That fish is 20X the eaglets!

We've been watching too. I keep the window minimized and check on them every so often during the day. It's pretty neat.

This is good stuff, you guys are missing out. We just watched the male eagle feed his three eaglets a fish the female brought to the nest. We actually had both male and female for a few short minutes. The eaglets are amazing, fuzzy little guys with strong,long necks and can they eat fish!!!

The eaglets are getting so big. One is not being incubated anymore. He is flapping his little wings.It has been fascinating watching this process!

Sad news: The mother eagle was hit and killed by a plane today. Very sad.
