Each Park's Opening Ceremony

Okay, so I'm a Disney expert by now. However, I normally always sleep in on my Disney trips and dont get in until later in the day. However, this last trip I made it to the AK 30 mins before opening. Around 8:50 they started a really cool opening ceremony at the Tree of Life with Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Mickey.

Do the other parks do opening ceremonies like these? If so, what are they?

The Magic Kingdom has an opening ceremony. The train pulls into Main Street with lots of the characters, the family of the day, and the mayor of Main Street. The Main Street dancers do a routine, and then the family of the day opens the parks.

What about MGM and EPCOT? Do they?

I know EPCOT did one years ago but, I'd love to know if they still do it.

EPCOT used to have the characters arrive in a double-decker bus to greet the families. It would then travel into the park and all characters would get off the bus for meet-and-greets. This has been replaced by the new Character Connection in Innoventions West.

In 2004 I know there was an opening ceremony and a family of the day at Epcot cause WE were the family of the day!

We got to count down from 10 to open the park and the followed the character bus into Epcot.

epcot has an opening the family of the day travels from character connections to the fountain in a test track car and the characters are out then they go to character connections.

MGM has a family count downa dn some characters out at rope drop. MK is the biggest ceremony followed by AK, then Epcot, and last is MGM at least the last time I was there.
