EA at LAX

I am going to Disneyland for the first time in November. I have used National's EA at the Orlando airport before but never at LAX. I was wondering if anyone had experience with EA at LAX. I'm looking to find out what type of cars I can expect to find there. We will have 3 adults and 2 kids so I am a bit concerned about getting a large enough car and I am trying to decide whether to take my chances with EA and maybe get something special or to just reserve a full size. We will be arriving on a Saturday morning if that makes a difference.

We used EA at LAX for our Easter trip to DL. My DH had to take the shuttle to get the car while we got the luggage. Lot's of Outlanders which he took and we had plenty of room for 5. We also tend to overpack and we had plenty of room for our luggage as well.

We were there Aug. 7th. Nothing but mid sized cars. It's a very small lot; nothing like what we are used to in Orlando.

Our reservation was for a full size on the EA (made before they changed the way EA works), so we went over to the full size aisle.

I think you should rent a larger car if you have 5 people. Don't count on getting something at the EA that is bigger than a mid size.

We were there in July. We rented a minivan but checked out the aisle anyway. Nothing but midsize or (what I would consider) smaller. I would rent the bigger car, as previous poster said it is not as big as Orlando.

Wow, we must have been really lucky! We are planning on another trip for spring break and I guess we will have to rethink our car rental. I even got an Outlander on the aisle on my trip a couple of weeks ago at MCO.

I've had good luck getting a full size at MCO with EA, but it sound like I'd better reserve a full size at LAX. Thanks for the info. Anyone else with experience?

We have rented minivans and SUV's from the EA at LAX. The last time we were there was in April and it was some kind of SUV (I think it might have been a chevy blazer).
When we arrived at the EA, there were mostly intermediates on the lot. As we were standing around trying to pick the most sincere rental car, they brought the SUV out and parked it in the EA lot. (Our decision became a no-brainer )
