I don't know when he found time to do it, unless he has been working on it for awhile. Chris went up to get him this morning and found some of the crib slats pushed out. This, my friends, was no cheapie crib. Oh no, we paid a pretty penny for this crib and my 21 month old managed to kick the slats out.

Chris yelled "Bridge, come see what your son has done". Well, I figured he was just naked again. The other day I called Chris up and said the same thing. I had found that E stripped his bed and himself completely. He walked up to see my little boy standing there in all his glory.

But nooooo, I walk in to find that my darling boy has attempted a jail break. I ran downstairs to grab the camera because I didn't think anyone would ever believe it. I'll need it for proof later on when I try to explain to him what he put his mother through. ;)

Most babies will just CLIMB out of their crib. Not mine! Rambo baby has to bust out like an action hero.

I have this model already.... its a couple years older than yours but I have to say, the batteries haven't even begun to slow down yet..... ***SIGH***

I'm afraid he came with lifetime warrenty lithium brand.... Oh well!

Thanks for the offer, but... NO!;) ;) :p

I went through that with my DSs and I'm glad that's over. Younger DS and DD didn't break the crib, but they would get naked, pooped in the crib and smear it all over the crib slats and wall, older DS didn't do the finger painting thing.   You've no idea what cleaning it was like, especially when I was pregnant with DD. I remember crying while cleaning the crib. Did I mention that I'm glad that stage is long over?

It sounds like it may be time for a toddler bed...

Too cute. :D I would gladly take you up on your offer. :p ;)

Yes, the toddler bed....keeping him IN it at night should be interesting. I should start a prayer & pixie dust thread for keeping him in a toddler bed. ::yes::

He almost looks smug. But in that oh-so-cute-and-you-know-you-love-me-anyway kind of look.

As far as the toddler bed, and keeping him in it, don't stress. Elliot-proof his room, and double gate the door, and just keep him contained in his room. My cousin had to do this with her twins :scared1: who were also, ummmm, very industrious in getting out of things. They slept on the floor a few nights, until they realized the bed was way more comfy.

And, I will have to pass on your oh so generous offer too.

Are you sure Deb? This kid could make you millions one day! He would at least get you on the 5 o'clock news for doing SOMETHING. What that something is, I will not guarantee. ;)

Thanks but no thanks. My 4 do enough damage around here without any assistance.

Sorry, I already have one too. Our crib had to be burned a few months ago, cause my Mr. Destructo did about the same thing to his crib. And he does the naked thing and one time did the poop smearing thing....:faint: he will be 3 at the end of June....doubt he will change but I can hope!

Certainly you are not talking about that angelic little boy in your picture? I think I can see his wings poking out from the back of his shirt!:teeth:

My goodness, with all the beautiful pictures you all have painted with your kids and their crib antics, I am now going to go hug DS4 and DS6 for NOT smearing their poop all over the place. They have done a lot of horrible things, ( and still do-they like to stick their fingers up their butts and smell it just to gross me out..) but fortunately that wasn't one of them.. Yuck....

The naked stuff seems like it will never end. When DS2(at the time) was in preschool, I jokingly asked his teacher when they outgrew that. With a totally straight face she said, "Oh, you mean your husband has?" :rotfl:
