How do they kick everyone else out of the park when they have an e-night?

We are not planning to do e-night, but we have PS at Crystal Palace at 6:00 on May 30. The park is scheduled to close at 7:00 that night and there is an e-night.

I'm wondering how this will work. Before the e-night was scheduled, I just assumed that the park would be closing by the time we finished eating and we would just leave. Now it seems it will still be open. I heard they give out bracelets for those that bought e-night tickets. Do they just check these before you go on rides? Are other people allowed to stay and just not go on rides (though not sure if there is any reason to)?

I know that you are definitely not allowed on the rides without the wristbands after a certain time, but I really don't think that they stop people from walking around during the night. There really is very little open during an e-ride that is not a ride, but I guess if you wanted to walk around and take pictures, they wouldn't stop you. Also, I do believe that they close off Fantasyland. ToonTown, and Adventureland, since nothing is open in them so they would escort you out of those areas if you are there when the park closes. I really don't think they actually kick the people who do not have a wristband out of the park, rather they just leave when they realize that there is nothing for them to do. It usually takes about a half hour or so for a vast majority of these people to "catch on" to the concept of the eride and to the fact that they cannot do anything.

When we were there in July they just checked wrist bands. if you didn't have one they kindly directed you towards the exit gates. They check for wrist bands at the attractions and when the "photo with characters" opportunities arise.

We have done e nights a few times before, but this next time, we are planning on just getting the wristbands for the kids and my DH is just going to walk around with them until they are ready to leave. The only benefit for e night is for those who love to ride the rides that are open; they do not walk around checking for wristbands. We have done it in different weather and occasionally have had sweaters on--no one made us pull up our sleeves unless we were trying to ride.;)
