Just wondering if anyone else got a message today (or in the past) from Disney Rewards Visa saying a special offer is on the way. No other details were given except that I would have to use my Disney Reward dollars so I need to get a redemption card and the offer is strictly for the Disney store or Disneystore.com. I'm just really curious as to what it is. :goodvibes

I got the same email from Disney Visa. I just got another email from Disneystore.com saying I was chosen for free shipping for the next 90 days.

I would like to know what the secret offer from Disney Visa is BEFORE I order a rewards card. :confused3

I got the same email today. Thought it might have something to do with me starting to request a card then not.....

I got one as well as and I could think of was my "stolen e-mail information."
Suspicious!

I got one today too. They did one of these promotions a little earlier this year (if I remember correctly), but I can't remember what it was for. I think they are just trying to get people to burn their points rather than stock piling them and using them as payments on their vacations or towards higher priced merchandise.

I hope I get this email! I want to be in the special club!

...or maybe I should wait until we find out what the offer is.

That's what I was thinking too. I thought the email was rather vague. I have over 600 points and we aren't going back to Disney until next year. I can't wait to see how many more I'll get before next July. I'll be using them for food if no free dining or a nice chunk off my room.

My thoughts exactly!!

I looked at the long headers. Doesn't seem like this is a scam, it came from ExactTarget, who have such clients as Groupon, Oakley, Toyota, Citigroup Financial Times, Argos, Expedia.com, Papa John’s, CareerBuilder.com, Gannett Co., The Home Depot, and Wellpoint.

I called to check (as we requested a new Rewards card, since we are going to WDW in a few weeks) - and our Rewards Card is in process. So still sticking with legitimate. They didn't ask for any information that scammers usually ask for.

I got one as well! I actual went back in my email be got the same email last year. Not sure if it was before a promo or what though.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a rewards card. As you can see from my ticker, we are getting pretty close to our trip and I'm needing to buy the girls their dresses to use at BBB. I'm hoping it is a decent deal and will come soon. I also got a e-mail through Disney Movie Rewards for $20 off a $100 purchase plus free shipping but it expires Sunday. Really debating whether to use it or wait to see what this is. Decisions, decisions:confused:

So after ordering my rewards redemption card and waiting 2 1/2 weeks, I have not received a special offer. I have called Chase who could pull up the e-mail and said it is valid (scared about the e-mails being leaked). They said Disney Store, their partner company, is responsible for it and they have no information. The people at Disney Store said they have no information whatsoever. So in the end, an e-mail was sent to their marketing department in hopes of an answer to when this special savings is coming out. When it is says coming soon, I think 2 1/2 weeks is pushing it. I'll probably get the e-mail tomorrow, though, after all this trouble:rotfl: Oh, well, just really want to get my girls' dresses for our upcoming trip!
