Last night my wife and I finally purchased a Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner. The best part was that we bought it for about 28% off the retail price of $499, paying only $385, including tax. How did we do it? Linens & Things accepts Bed Bath & Beyond coupons. And I don't know about the rest of you but we get one of their '20% off any single item" coupons in the mail about every other week. And, as I was checking out, I noticed a button on the cashier's shirt that said 'ask me how to save 10% on your purchase', so I did. By signing up for a Linens and Things credit card, the additional discount was taken. (Note, the 10% discount was taken after the 20% discount. So, instead of another $49.99 off, only $39.99 was deducted.) On top of that, since the purchase was greater than $250, it qualified for 3-months same as cash. Pretty good deal all the way around!
As an added benefit, the vacuum cleaner was a breeze to put together (didn't take much more than 5 minutes) and it works GREAT!
