Dynamic Ticket Prices - What we thinking?

Basically dynamic pricing is associated with all the things you hate to book most— if you don’t like being ripped off, dynamic pricing adds extra stress and effort to purchasing decisions.

I see it as just another way Disney is putting short term margins over long-term loyalty.

I'll need to purchase 14 4 day tickets for June. With all this talk of dynamic pricing, would you purchase them now, or wait to see what happens. I know there have been special priced tickets in the past, but last years did not include Magic Kingdom and that's a priority.
According to the article I read, they don't expect to roll it out in 2026 so you're probably safe in waiting. They're already doing it in DLP so the technology is already tried on a small scale. But knowing Disney's IT to be what it is, this sounds like a giant cluster in the making for WDW.

The only surge pricing I have heard of is for transportation. Airlines, buses, Ride share, train etc….

Universal uses it for everything. So do many travel suppliers.

I have see a package deal at Universal go up within 24 hours and then back down months later.

It’s the same with cruises, with some doing it often than others. DCL tends to go up and very rarely comes back down until they put it on sale toward the end, if that ship isn’t as selling as well as others.
