DxDDP and STK or Boathouse??

Anyone dine here recently on the dining plan? Just wondering how it works for these two in regards to what you can choose off the menu. Please let me know. Thanks!

We were there in May and dined at the Boathouse twice using the DXDDP (we originally had just one ressie but added an additional later in the trip since we enjoyed the first one so much.) I can't speak to STK as it wasn't open when we visited. The Boathouse is 2 credits.

Based on my recollection for the Boathouse you could choose the appetizer from the Launch or salad menu (but not from the raw menu). Pretty much all the entrees except the items specified as for two were included (We had the 12 ounce Filets and the baked crab stuffed lobster --- all of which were excellent.)

I have a solo trip booked for December with DXDDP and have 2 meals at the Boathouse booked.

Generally, not really. Standard for steakhouses.

So what all comes with the entree then? Just wanting to see if this would be worth the 2 credits for our trip.

You might want to check out the food pics threads to see entrees others have posted. Its unlikely the plate will be bare besides your actual main cut of meat (or whatever) - likely some vegetables and maybe a starch. In any case, likely much smaller than would be sold as a "side".

(Edit: based on a quick check of Boathouse, looks to be very minimal extra on the plate - small amount of veggies, usually listed in the entree description, plus a sauce.)

With our meals there weren't any sides (we had filets (Oscar style) one day and the crab stuffed lobsters on the other) only what was in the menu descriptions was on the plate. For us this wasn't an issue since with the appetizer and dessert it really was a lot of food.

We found it well worth the 2 credits for us adults... We did pay out of pocket for our 9 year old DS's meals there as, for what he ordered, 2 credits wouldn't have been a great value. Same at the Yachtsman. Since the TS credits aren't split up based on Adult/child for the deluxe dining plan this meant we could all use those credits for other TS meals.
