DW in February?

Hi everyone,
I humbly, apologize if this question has been asked a lot, but what is the weather like in early February? Granted it's wintertime, but I was curious about how much it rains during that time? We were thinking about going then, to take advantage of Value season rates. Thanks everyone.

Well, we went Feb 7-13 2003 and it was a horrible trip. It rained on the 1st day but that wasn't so bad. We all get sick, I mean all of us. I mean horribly sick. We had to take my 3 y/o(who was 12 mo at the time) to the hospital(celebration hospital which was the worst experience of my life). Maybe it was just us but I will NEVER go in Feb again.

We just went February 13-23, 2005. While the pre-trip was an adventure b/c everyone came down sick after Christmas and I said I would never plan a Feb vacation again......I was so wrong!!

The Feb trip was unbelievable!! The weather the whole time was between 70-75 with a bit cooler mornings. I guess this was warm for the time of year, it beat doing Disney in the 90 degree heat of late May (our prev trip).

The crowds were not bad at all, either. I thought going over Pres week would be bad, but it was not at all.

I guess it can be hit or miss, but, it is the drier season in Florida.

We were there Feb 6-18 of this year. The weather was spectacular!!!! Out of our 13 days, there was literally ONE day that we experienced ANY rain. And it was only in the morning on that one day. It's amazing, as we look through our pictures from the trip, we see day after day after day of crystal clear blue sky. The temps were wonderful too, we wore shorts and t-shirts most of the time. There were a few days where it got chilly (actually QUITE chilly and windy on Feb. 11th, wished we had our winter coats that day! LOL) But still, beautiful clear skies.

The crowds weren't bad either. We did notice them increase as we neared Pres. Day weekend though.

You can get a wide variety of weather in February, often in the same week! When we were there in Feb 2004 early in the week it was in the 30s in the morning and drizzled a few times, only getting up around 50 during the day. By the last day it was 82 during the afternoon.

We find the biggest problem with going in Febraury is that you almost have to pack for two different vacations because you never know if it will be 50 during the day or 80!

I guess the weather is unpredictable (just as it is here in California). Hmmm...wondering if we should just stick to late April, early May????.

The weather is definitely unpredictable here. February tends to be drier, but the temperature can be all over the place. It's a great time to come as far as the crowds though, much better than April and May. January and February are the coldest months here usually though, so you'll have to be prepared for possibly down in the 30's or 40's at night.

Actually the weather can be like this through April as well. 2 days ago the low was around 70, tonight it got down to 45...
