I am interested in purchasing a DVD recorder so I can put my home movies/VHS tapes on DVD.

Any recommendations? Looking for something easy to use!

My DH has one in his computer and it's wonderful! It came with software that has vacation "themes" so when you put your home movies onto DVD, you can have chapters and themes and background music if you want. It's pretty cool! :) I'll ask him later what brand it is.

Circuit City has customer reviews of it's electronics. They seem to be quite reliable, and have a lot of information....

I would make sure it was a major brand, and also the warranty should be at least 1 year...

Good luck searching

I don't think the one I got is very easy to use (I'm still not sure what I'm doing), but it makes great DVDs. It's the Philips DVDR75.

I suggest checking Amazon and reading the customer reviews. People are very honest about what works and what doesn't.
