DVD players at HHI

We are staying in a studio and a GV next weel at HHI. Anyone know if there are DVD players in each size unit?

Our 1BR last week had a VCR.

We stayed in a studio at HH at the end of February and only had a VCR. Plus, the movies that can be checked out for viewing in your room were only VHS, so I assume that probably means that there are no DVD players in any rooms.

On a recent trip to HH, the VCR player was missing from our room! (Maintenance said that there had been a problem with one earlier in the day and they think that they took the one from the room that we had just check into to replace it.)

Anyhow, they didn't have another VCR on site, so they actually had to go out and buy one the next day. When they came in to replace it, I asked the maintenance guy about DVD players and he said he knew of no plans to replace the VCRs with DVDs.

The bedroom tv's have always been bolted down to the cabinet. I have never been able to get behind it. The place where the front RCA jacks go in the are not there. The TV in the living room can be moved to get to the RCA jacks. YOu will have to remove the VCR hook up. I take one of those portable DVD's with the 7" screen and hook it up. You might need to have an extention cord because the only plug I can find is on the back side of the island. My cord for the portable DVD was long enough. I also bring my own movies because HHI has a terrible selection of VCR's.

The blockbuster video is to the right on the main road. look for the "it's greek to me" restuarant in the guide for directions.

Hollywood video is to the right at the publix store.

THe grandvilla has a stero system that you might be able to hook up to sound. I have not tried this though.
